Cuisinart Elemental Collection™ 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder

An auto-reversing SmartPower blade chopper/grinder switches direction to use two cutting surfaces. The sharp edge is designed for delicate chopping and puréeing softer foods, while the blunt edge is intended to grind through spices and harder foods.

The BladeLock chopper/grinder is designed to keep the blade secure during processing and pouring. That added stability can make it easier to transfer ingredients out of the bowl when you are finished.

This chopper/grinder is a good choice for quick kitchen tasks like chopping ingredients, grinding spices and puréeing small batches. It’s especially handy when you want to prep aromatics, toppings or sauces without bringing out a larger machine.

You can influence texture by how long you process and how much you load at once. For chunkier results, process in short bursts and stop to check, and for smoother purées, process longer while keeping batch size manageable.

A 4-cup chopper/grinder is typically ideal for small batches and everyday prep, such as building flavor bases or making dressings and dips. If you often cook for a crowd, you may prefer doing multiple batches rather than overfilling.
