Simplehuman Compost Bin, 4 L in Matte Black

The stainless steel compost caddy uses a soft-seal lid that allows food scraps to breathe while helping keep odor under control. The lid also helps keep pests away, so you can collect scraps during prep without leaving the kitchen smelling unpleasant.

Yes. The stainless steel compost caddy attaches to a magnetic dock that hangs at the side of a rectangular or slim liner rim trash can. You can also detach the caddy and use it on your countertop when that is more convenient.

A 30-pack of Code Z custom fit compostable liners is included. The liners are sized to fit the stainless steel compost caddy and can be thrown out with your food scraps since they fully decompose.

Lift out the removable plastic inner bucket to dump scraps with less mess. For cleanup, wash the inner bucket as needed and wipe down the stainless steel compost caddy exterior to keep it looking its best.

The caddy’s stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible fingerprint-proof coating to help reduce smudges. It is also infused with Agion, an EPA-registered antimicrobial that inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew.
