Simplehuman Slim Step Trash Can, 12 gal. in Matte Black

The stainless steel step trash can opens with a foot pedal, so you can lift the lid hands-free while you cook or clean. When you are finished, the lid is designed to close noiselessly for a quieter kitchen.

The liner pocket on the stainless steel step trash can stores replacement bags inside the can and dispenses them as you need them. It is a convenient way to keep liners close at hand without taking up extra space in a drawer.

The stainless steel liner rim grips the bag and keeps it neatly tucked in. It also helps keep the bag edge hidden, so the can looks clean and finished even when it is in use.

Yes. The slim, space-efficient shape is made to fit neatly into tight spaces, like beside a cabinet run or between kitchen fixtures. It is a smart option when you want full function without a bulky footprint.

For everyday care, wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth, then dry to keep it looking its best. If you need to clean inside, remove the liner rim, empty the can and wipe the interior before reassembling.
