Stoneware prep bowls are great for mise en place and for individual portions you want to bake and serve, like crème brûlée or shirred eggs. They also work well for holding sauces, toppings and small ingredients while you cook.
The stoneware in these prep bowls is designed to distribute heat evenly and efficiently. That steady heating can help small bakes cook more consistently from edge to center.
The porcelain enamel glaze helps the stoneware prep bowls resist absorbing moisture from cooking foods. It’s a practical finish when you’re baking or serving foods that release steam or liquid.
You will receive a set of two stoneware prep bowls. They’re designed to cover both prep tasks and individual serving uses.
Use the stoneware prep bowls to portion spices, chopped aromatics, garnishes or measured ingredients before you start cooking. Keeping components separated can make cooking feel calmer and helps you add ingredients at the right moment.
