Vitamix® Ascent® X2 SmartPrep Kitchen System

The SmartPrep kitchen system pairs a blender container and a food processor container with a single motor base, so you can switch from blending to prep without adding another appliance. Use the blending container for drinks and sauces, then swap to the 12-cup food processor container for chopping and slicing tasks.

For prep, the SmartPrep kitchen system includes a 12-cup food processor container, a multi-use blade and two reversible slicing discs. These pieces are designed to help with common tasks like chopping, dicing and slicing right on the countertop.

The SmartPrep kitchen system offers three blending settings plus variable speed control, letting you fine-tune texture based on what you are making. It can handle everything from smoother blends like smoothies to chunkier results like salsa.

The 48-ounce container is built for low-volume and midsize blends, with performance geared toward one to four servings. It is a practical everyday size when you want to blend a smaller amount without pulling out a larger jar.

The SmartPrep kitchen system includes a self-cleaning option for the blender container. Add warm water and a drop of dish soap, then run the cleaning cycle to help lift residue so cleanup is quick.
